Fading Memories

Our project entitled “Fading Memories”, is a game that portrays the experience of dealing with dementia in a way that is easier to understand for those who are not inflicted by it. It aims to spread awareness of the condition, especially to young adults who are most likely to have people in their life affected by it.

Through the use of the depreciating objects in the room and the music becoming more distorted as phases progress, we were able to communicate the idea of forgetting, hallucinations and paranoia that comes with experiencing dementia.
